 Manhattan Award Program Honors the Achievement

 

MANHATTAN October 30, 2017 — 4 Real Women International, Inc. has been selected for the 2017 Best of Manhattan Award in the Women’s Organizations & Services category by the Manhattan Award Program.  4 Real Women International, Inc. has been selected five years in a row for the Best of Manhattan Awards for Women’s Organizations & Services and in 2017 qualifies for the Manhattan Business Hall of Fame.

Each year, the Manhattan Award Program identifies companies and organizations that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies and organizations that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Manhattan area a great place to live, work and play.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2017 Manhattan Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Manhattan Award Program and data provided by third parties.

Woman Receives Hand-woven machine


In May, 2016 at the Voices of Women Conference, 4 Real Women International Inc. was able to partner with There is No Limit Foundation to purchase a hand women machine for a woman in Ivory Coast.

Kabore, seen in this photo was the recipient of this machine. In June, the co-founders of There is No Limit Foundation, sisters Aissata M/B Camara and were able to donate this very valuable resource to Kabore. This machine will ensure that Kabore and her family have food, clothing and much needed materials for their survival.

Voices of Women 2016 Open Heart Award Winner

New York, NY, May 2, 2016: 4 Real Women International, Inc., a 501 [c] 3 non-profit organization dedicated to female empowerment, proudly announces its 2016 ‘Open Heart Award’ winner, Beth Kallman Werner. Mrs. Werner will be accepting the Open Heart Award at the 4RWI fourth annual Voices of Women Conference [VowCon ‘16] on Sunday, May 16, 2016, at the Roulette Performance and Events Space in downtown Brooklyn, New York.

Beth Werner has been a professional editor since the age of 20, when she launched PAPER MAKEOVER to assist ESL students at CUNY Brooklyn College. Beth has worked for the NYC Bar Association as well as with major publishing houses and countless indie authors on book reviews and title promotion campaigns. Beth also produced the highly successful Book Video Awards with Random House Children’s Books.

In 2010 Beth launched her own company, Author Connections, LLC., (AC), a company designed to educate, encourage, and empower authors, providing editing and marketing services to an exclusive roster of clients. She is an Advisor to the Next Generation Indie Book Awards (NGIBA), and serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of Independent Authors (AiA).

In January 2015 the members of the Organizing Committee for VoWCon voted to establish the Open Heart Award. Parental Abduction

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 2015- 4 Real Women International, Inc. has established Sundays as #jadaday in honor of Jada Danielle and representing children who are missing due to parental abduction.

According to HealthResearchFunding.org an estimated 203,900 children are victims of a family abduction and biological fathers are responsible for 53% of the parental child abduction cases. No mother should have to suffer the disappearance of her child. For 4 Real Women International, Inc. this issue is very close to home.

Voices of Women (VoWCon15) Open Heart Award.

March 2015 – 4 Real Women International, Inc. is pleased to announce Noris M. Matherson as the first recipient of the 2015 Voices of Women Conference (VoWCon) Open Heart Award.

In January the members of the Organizing Committee for VoWCon15 voted to establish the organization’s first Open Heart Award. This award honors individuals whose year to date financial contributions to the organization exceed $500. The Open Heart Award will be granted each year to the donor with the highest financial contributions.

This year’s Open Heart recipient, Noris M. Matherson, is a Client Strategy Manager in the Marketing & Sales Business Development Groupof PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Noris Matherson has made generous contributions to signature 4 Real Women International, Inc. programs as well as volunteers annually as afacilitator for the Leadership Academy 4 Women: LEAD.

Noris will be awarded the Open Heart Award on May 17th at the 2015 Voices of Women Conference to be held at the Roulette Events and Performance Space, Brooklyn, New York.

The Hoosie Martin Foundation Award

February 2015 – 4 Real Women International, Inc. (4RWI) has been awarded a 2015 capacity building grant from The Hoosie Martin Foundation. This grant will allow 4RWI to advance its mission of mentoring, inspiring, and empowering women and girls globally.

The Hoosie Martin Foundation invests in nonprofit organizations that are committed to expanding their capacity in order to have a greater impact on society. The foundation seeks to secure the success and self-sufficiency of selected non-profit organizations by ensuring access to the educational and financial resources necessary to implement positive social change.

Non-profit organizations are carefully vetted by The Hoosie Martin Foundation and can only apply after receiving an invitation to do so. Grants and scholarships are awarded based upon the priorities of the selected nonprofits and their designated strategic areas of education, social service, and commitment to community development. 4 Real Women International, Inc. is among some of the nation’s notable nonprofits that have received this honor. Some of organizations that have received this grant, include: Feeding America (2014), United Way (2014), Boys and Girls Club (2014), and Fort Worth Aviation Museum (2013) among others.

4 Real Women International, Inc. is honored to be the 2015 recipient of The Hoosie Martin Foundation’s capacity building grant. This grant will serve to strengthen and enhance 4RWI signature programs and expand its mission of changing lives one woman at a time.
