Shaunda has a compelling passion for women and girls. As an Empowerment Team facilitator this commitment allows her to be dedicated to encouraging women and girls throughout the world, from a holistic perspective to lift their voices, and advocate for the continuity of their human rights.

Working for many years as a social worker in New York City managing cases of child abuse, neglect and maltreatment, Shaunda has counseled parents, children and families. Providing the parents a safe place for healing and nurturing to ensure solutions towards the safety and permanency of the child(ren) in their care/custody and establishing family/children plans for the safety and well-being of the children. Currently Shaunda provides clinical supervision to casework staff, and administrative supervision that correlates with the aspects of providing adequate intervention to the individuals, children and families served.

Shaunda has facilitated with 4RWI, Inc. in international conferences in Canada and Jamaica, The Leadership Academy 4 Women: LEAD!, and The International Power Call. She is the Co-chair for the DJW Race 4 Real Survivors, and alo writes for the Empowerment 4 Real Women Magazine.

Shaunda specializes in the following 4RWI, Inc. Signature Workshops:When You Say Yes (self-accountability for girls ages 12-17), Walk Fearless! (personal safety and awareness), Dealing with the isms (handling racism, sexism, and ageism).
