Shonelle has a passion for people and believes that every one has the opportunity to change their lives. For several years, she worked in the area of Youth Ministries; organizing community service events, program planning, and providing empowerment for young people in her community of faith. She has written articles for youth-targeted magazines. Academically, she holds undergratuate degrees in Computer Programming, Justice Studies, and English. She also possesses a master’s degree in Education. Her professional expertise includes experience as a Peer Mentor, College Academic Advisor, Consumer Frauds Mediator for the former Governor Elliott Spitzer’s Administration and former political organizer during the 2008 Democratic Presidential Campaign. A high school guidance counselor and registrar, her prized career has been educating students for eternity.
Shonelle is the recipient of several youth and community service awards including the M.E Kern Award for Outstanding Youth Work and the North American Division’s Youth Motivational Speaker of the Year award. In 2009, she received the New York City Council award for outstanding Community Service from City Councilman Mathieu Eugene.
Shonelle, joined 4 Real Women International in 2013, where she currenlty serves as an empowerment facilitator. From this platform she has created powerful video logs for women and young women on self-esteem and personal development. Shonelle is married and enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
